Creathon for girls in connection with the Girls in ICT Day 2017 was held on 25 April 2017 on the basis of the department of Software Engineering (ZSEA).
Six teams from six Zaporizhzhya schools were finding a way to change their school with the help of the Internet of Things. Smart dining room and smart cloakroom are a sole small part of a creative girls’ ideas.
Masters of Software Engineering were teaching them to find out existing problems and to offer a successful solutions. Teams were being helped by mentors connected with prototyping – full-time second year Software Engineering students.
Each team developed its own presentation and prototype in Packet Tracer. Although jury had revealed a winners, there were no losers. The event was prepaired for the assistance of Cisco Networking Academy Program with the use of materials of the course “Hackathon Playbook”. Prizes given to participants were prepared by Cisco, IT-Dimention, Light-IT companies.
